Update: New Recycled Shipping Envelopes

by Karl Topee

Back in February, we announced our successful switch from Tyvek mailers to biodegradable / fully compostable shipping envelopes. Unfortunately, we just found out that the price is going up, up, up (ten "ups" to be exact). But fear not, my eco-enthusiasts! We've found an excellent replacement!

Our new shipping envelopes, from our favorite eco-packaging pioneers, Eco Enclose, are made from 88% post-consumer and post-industrial content. They're also fully recyclable (be sure to check your local recycling regulations)! Oh, and they're a gorgeous steel gray--which matches nicely with our white shipping labels, I must say.

Another great benefit? They're reusable! Because of the handy, dandy tear strip at the top, all you need is one piece of tape to reseal and reuse. How cool is that?!

AND...if you're a customer that needs to exchange for a different size, hang on to your envelope! You can use it to mail back your item to us. PRO TIP: Flip the envelope inside out, re-tape the strip and affix or tape your shipping label. We all win!
